The working plan of the research program contains various sectors of production, such as soil nutrition management, plant production, grassland management, vegetable production, animal breeding, cattle, sheep, poultry and pork production. Studies of each of these can model and analyze a given agricultural system or product cycle, in relation to soil→plant→animal→food and/or the basic components of fodder.

Our objective is that certain sub-programs, either independently or in co-operation with each other, on the basis of professional knowledge, should become capable of developing economic, technological and production models, sub-processes and monitoring systems. These should be applicable in practice and adaptable by producers and companies, able to respond to new information input and usable with data base systems, as well as be easily manageable on the national or sector management levels.

These models to be developed should improve the lifestyles and living standards of those working in the agricultural sector and support the economic development of a particular region, both on the individual and social levels.

Since agricultural production processes play key roles in the environment, the models should guarantee the potential of a sustainable and rational management system that uses the partial or full exploitation of human resources.
