HUNGARIAN MONITORING-PROGRAMME FOR DETERMINING THE CHEMICAL CONTAMINANTS (RESIDUES) IN FOODS OF ANIMAL ORIGIN


The accomplishment of the random-based residue-monitoring programme has been strictly executed according to the 96/23 EC-Directive. It covers every type of foods of animal origin and investigates via sophisticated analytical techniques and methods. The ranges of the controlled residues: groups of different environmental contaminants, vide ranges of the veterinary drugs (antimicrobials, antiparasitics, neuroleptics …), illegal growht-promoters (steroid hormones, hormonally active substances, beta-agonozers, tranquillizers, thyreostatics), banned antimicrobials (chloramphenicol, 5-nitrofuranes …), range of agrochemicals, etc. Since 1996 accredited laboratory-system applies sophysticated clean-up and analytical detection techniques.
