Environment-friendly starch derivation

The aim of the research topics is to develop a starch-based biopolymer product family which members can be used in the fields of industry, agriculture, protecting the public health and the environment. Advantages of using such products :

They are originated from renewables, non-toxic in case of using appropriate reagents and degrade for environmental impact.

The most important products are :

Flocculants for water and wastewater treatment, slow release encapsulating agents for pesticides and scale inhibitors prevent the scale formation in water lines.
